One of two worship centres in the Parish of South Darebin, we keep the best of the past while practising our faith in a tolerant, open and inclusive way. We love the beauty and mystery of the liturgy, and enjoy both traditional and modern Anglican music. We observe the festivals and seasons of the year. We also have progressive values – tolerance of difference, interest in other faiths, respect for people of all ages, backgrounds, genders and sexual orientations. Our parish seeks to welcome everyone, to share our experience of God, to reach out to those who need help, and to engage in issues of social justice. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, traditional owners of the land on which both parish churches were built and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. We pray for a just outcome for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Reverend Mother Linda is a life-long learner with a passion for teaching. After ordination she took up a dual role as Chaplain of Christ Church Grammar School and member of the Ministry team in the parish.
Her theological study at Trinity built on a base of PhD research in Jungian theory; specifically on the role of image in creating meaning. Ignatian Spirituality informs all aspects of her work as it is a well-spring for energy, insight and shared leadership.
After eight years at South Yarra, Linda spent time in a variety of Locum positions including a substantial period at St Margaret’s Eltham and most recently at St Mark’s Fitzroy. Her heart’s desire has long been to put down permanent roots. The parish of South Darebin has returned her to the area where she grew up.
